Our house got flooded due to an issue with our washing machine. James came over to fix our carpets and check the floorboards. He could have very easily just done his job and left. But he saw how badly we were struggling and went above and beyond to help us out. He spent time explaining to us what possibly went wrong and how he’d be taking care of the carpets at length. He also gave us ample information about how and why the floorboards needed to be changed. He gave us information about potential renters’ insurance options for future issues. He also gave us fantastic advice on how to deal with the issue without absolutely breaking the bank. He even stood up for us when the sellers of the machine tried to pin the whole situation onto us. Within a span of 6 days, he came over to our house to check on the progress (and on us) thrice. His work was absolutely fantastic and he did an immaculate job with the carpets. The carpets look brand new at this point. But he did so much more than just provide us with a service. At a time when 3 struggling uni students felt absolutely hopeless, he truly came in and made us believe there were still good people left in the world. James’ work and work ethic are absolutely phenomenal and moreover, he’s a good person who’s willing to go above and beyond to help.
